We are pleased to invite you to attend the XX Alexander Hollaender Course on nutrition, environment and health, which will be held from October 17th to October 20th, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This space will provide the opportunity to discuss major health problems of the 21st century that reflect the intimate relationship between nutrition and the environment in an inter-disciplinary fashion, including nutritional deficiencies and dietary and environmental changes in both rural and urban environments.
The nutritional analysis, combined with an accurate understanding of traditional systems and resources, can help identify the biological and socio-cultural components and solutions to health problems associated with dietary changes as well as adaptation strategies for the future.
With the aim to train undergraduate and graduate students, this course Alexander Hollaender Course aims to focus on basic and practical knowledge about the dynamic interaction between nutrition, environmental pollution and health issues. On the other hand, researchers interested in these subjects will have the opportunity to exchange different views with guest speakers and amplify the spectrum of tools to solve a wide range of health problems.
